When your only pair of flip-flops finally decides it’s time to go to flip-flop heaven, and your house reeks of stinky Vans (think vinegar and fresh rubber) piling up in the doorway… I guess that means it’s officially summer. Like hermit crabs on the beach, summer allows us to step out of our shells… even if it’s just for a brief moment. I hope everyone finds reason to embrace the season – catch a wave, stay up till the birds chirp, use melted popsicle juice as warpaint, will rainbows to appear after dark storms, watch wind make electricity, walk aimlessly, make vegetables (and babies)… Just do whatever floats your boat because life is short, we only live once… and let’s face it – life is often better when our head and toes are buried deep in the sand!
